Based on his favorite verse—Phil 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”—Termite feels strongly motivated to share the inspirational story of where his true strength is found.  It is not found in his own strength, but in the Lord’s.

Termite enjoyed a very successful boxing career in his youth, and yet he has suffered many failures as well. He knows all too well how it feels when life knocks you down.  He has learned firsthand the pain of hitting rock bottom, only to learn the most important truth of all: God is near to the brokenhearted and He is our ever present help in time of need.

Termite also met with seemingly insurmountable obstacles throughout his journey in Iraq. However, through it all he was reminded over and over again that with God: you can always find a way through every challenge. Regardless of your obstacles, God will supply every single thing you need to succeed.

With When Life Knocks You Down, your congregation or audience will be inspired by the Lord through Termite to “fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7).
